Bladeguard Veterans are the ultimate expression of a Space Marine’s martial prowess. Clad in ornate Tacticus armor and wielding master-crafted power swords, they are the unbreakable vanguard of a Chapter. They do not merely fight; they conduct a masterclass in close-quarters dueling, protected by massive Storm Shields that can deflect even the most punishing anti-tank fire.

Why They Are an Essential Blade

  • Unrivaled Durability: With a 3+ Invulnerable Save (one of the best in the game) and a high Toughness, Bladeguard are notoriously difficult to kill. They are the perfect unit to sit on a central objective and dare the enemy to try and take it.

  • Elite Duelists: Their Master-crafted Power Swords deal consistent, high-quality damage. In 10th Edition, they possess the Swords of Victory ability, allowing them to reroll Invulnerable Saves of 1, making them even more frustratingly resilient in melee.

  • The "Character" Guard: They serve as the perfect escort for powerful Characters like a Captain or Chaplain. Their presence ensures your leaders survive long enough to deliver their own devastating attacks.

What’s Inside the Box?

This multi-part plastic kit contains 78 components to build 3 Bladeguard Veterans:

  • The Armory of Honor: Includes three master-crafted power swords and three Storm Shields. The shields can be modeled in various poses, from defensive stances to aggressive strikes.

  • Sergeant Customization: Options to build the squad leader with a Neo-volkite Pistol or a Plasma Pistol, and a unique head/shoulder pad configuration.

  • Head & Gear Options: A generous selection of helmeted and unhelmeted heads, as well as distinct scabbards and pouches to personalize each veteran.

  • Bases: 3x Citadel 40mm Round Bases and a Space Marine Transfer Sheet.
