Skaven: Warpsark Weapon Battery

Madness, Malice, and Overwhelming Firepower.

The Warpsark Weapon Battery represents the pinnacle (or the absolute gutter) of Skryre ingenuity. These mobile weapon teams carry the most volatile and destructive experimental tech the Clans Skryre have to offer. Pushed into battle by frantic weapon-crews, these batteries specialize in turning the battlefield into a chaotic mess of green warp-lightning, toxic gas, or rapid-fire lead, all while teetering on the edge of a catastrophic explosion.

Why They are Masters of Chaos

  • Versatile Destruction: The Weapon Battery isn't just one gun; it's a platform for Skryre's greatest "hits." In the current edition, you can choose between three devastating profiles:

    • Ratling Guns: For mowing down massive infantry swarms with a hail of warp-bullets.

    • Warpfire Throwers: For incinerating anything that gets too close with green, unquenchable fire.

    • Warp-Volt Scourgers: For arcing deadly lightning through elite units.

  • "More-more Warp-sparks!": Like most Skryre units, you can "Overcharge" these weapons. This grants them terrifying bonuses to damage or shots, but carries the very "Skaven" risk of the weapon exploding and melting the crew into a puddle of green goo.

  • Skitter-scurry: Despite carrying heavy equipment, these teams are surprisingly elusive. They can use the Skitter-scurry ability to redeploy or retreat when an enemy gets too close, making them difficult to pin down.

  • Hidden Weapon Teams: You can often "hide" these units within larger blocks of Clanrats or Stormvermin, only to have them pop out at the most inconvenient moment for your opponent to unleash a devastating point-blank volley.

What’s Inside the Box?

This multi-part plastic kit contains the components to build 3 Weapon Battery teams:

  • Interchangeable Weapons: The kit is highly modular, allowing you to arm your three teams with any combination of Ratling Guns, Warpfire Throwers, or Warp-Volt Scourgers.

  • The Crews: Each battery features two Skaven—one "gunner" and one "loader/pusher"—each dripping with character, from notched ears to frantic, wide-eyed expressions.

  • Scavenged Aesthetics: The models are covered in the classic Skryre look: rusted pipes, leaking tanks, haphazardly bolted armor plates, and glowing warpstone chunks.

  • Bases: 3x Citadel 50mm Round Bases.
