Orks: Runtherd and Gretchin
Small, Mean, and Surprisingly Useful.
n the brutal society of the Orks, someone has to do the dirty work. Enter the Gretchin (or "Grots")—smaller, shiftier, and significantly more cowardly than their Ork masters. While they might spend most of a battle looking for a good hole to hide in, their sheer numbers and surprising knack for "thieving" objectives make them an essential tactical asset for any Warboss who isn't too proud to use them.
Why You Need Them
Objective Thieves: In the 10th Edition, Gretchin have the invaluable Thieving Scavengers ability. If they hold an objective at the start of your Command phase, there’s a chance they’ll "find" you an extra Command Point—a massive strategic advantage for such a cheap unit.
The Ultimate "Screen": Use them as a literal wall of bodies. At their low point cost, Gretchin are the perfect "bullet catchers" to protect your expensive units from enemy charges or sniper fire.
Small but Crack-Shots: Surprisingly, Gretchin actually hit better with their guns than standard Orks! With a BS 4+, their "Grot Blastas" can occasionally chip away at light infantry while the enemy is distracted by the bigger, greener threats.
The Runtherd’s Motivation: Every mob needs a Runtherd to keep them moving toward the enemy (usually with a Grot-prod or a hungry Squig). He ensures the Grots stay focused and don't "leg it" the moment a bolter round whizzes past.
What’s Inside the Box?
This multi-part plastic kit contains 11 miniatures (10 Gretchin and 1 Runtherd):
Customization Galore: Includes 12 different Gretchin heads, allowing you to create a rag-tag horde of unique, sneering, and terrified-looking grots.
The Runtherd: Includes 2 different head options for the Ork minder and a choice of "tools" to keep the grots in line, including a Grot-prod or a Squig-hound.
Dynamic Posing: Despite their size, these models are packed with character, featuring various poses from "scuttling" to "desperately aiming."
Bases: 10x Citadel 25mm Round Bases (for the Gretchin) and 1x Citadel 32mm Round Base (for the Runtherd).

Get Krumpin' (Or Just Hide)
No Ork army is complete without a mob of Grots to do the chores. Whether they're generating CP or just standing in the way of a lascannon, Gretchin are the unsung heroes of the Waaagh!
"Get forward, ya pathetic runts! Gork and Mork don't like quitters, and I don't like waitin' for my lunch!"
