Mangmi Air Y

The MANGMI AIR Y brings back the classic vertical handheld shape, with modern Android hardware inside. Built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, it is MANGMI’s entry-level vertical Android handheld, aimed at retro classics. It has a 4.2-inch 4:3 touchscreen, a 5000mAh battery, an RGB Hall-effect joystick and active cooling.

4.2-inch 4:3 Display Made for Retro Games

The 4.2-inch IPS touchscreen runs at 1280 x 960. Its 4:3 aspect ratio suits classic games, which were designed for 4:3 TVs and handhelds. MANGMI rates the panel at 500 nits brightness and 110% sRGB colour gamut.

Classic Look, Modern Feel

MANGMI pairs a minimalist design with metal-texture buttons, a contoured rear grip and an RGB Hall-effect joystick. On the front you get a D-pad, A/B/X/Y buttons, Select and Start, and a Home button with ambient lighting. L1, R1, L2 and R2 sit on the back. The left side has a power button, a thumbwheel for volume and a customisable key. The top has the USB Type-C port, the TF (microSD) card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microphone.

Active Cooling and Long Playtime

A high-speed fan and an aluminium heat spreader keep performance steady during long sessions. The 5000mAh battery charges at 15W.

Play Your Way with M Space 2.0

Play retro classics, Android games and cloud-streamed games on one device. The AIR Y runs Android 14 with MANGMI’s M Space 2.0 software, which MANGMI designed for retro gamers. It includes a game launcher, an all-new sidebar and virtual memory. The 32GB of built-in storage can be expanded with a TF (microSD) card.
