GLOOMSPITE GITZ: Squig Herd
Bouncing Chaos and Rowdy Carnage from the Dankest Caverns.
When the Bad Moon hangs low, the caverns of the Mortal Realms erupt with a cacophony of barking, snapping, and high-pitched cackling. The Squig Herd is the ultimate expression of Gloomspite unpredictability—a riotous collection of hungry, spherical monsters driven forward by overworked Squig Herders. A Squig Herd doesn't just march to war; it bounces, bites, and explodes into the enemy lines, turning a disciplined battlefield into a chaotic buffet of red flesh and jagged teeth.
Why You Need Them
Unstoppable Momentum: Squigs are surprisingly fast and deadly. Their "Goat-chewed" movement and high-damage bites make them an ideal shock unit for crashing into enemy infantry.
The "Cave Squig" Punch: For their points, Squigs hit incredibly hard. Their massive maws carry a high rend and damage characteristic that can tear through heavy armor as easily as soft flesh.
Chaos on Demise: When Squigs are slain, they don't go quietly. They tend to "Pop" or run wild, dealing mortal wounds to nearby enemies (and sometimes friends) in a final act of spiteful violence.
A Painter’s Dream: Squig Herds are a fantastic break from painting armored soldiers. Their smooth, organic surfaces are perfect for vibrant Contrast paints, wet blending, or experimenting with wild patterns and neon colors.
What’s Inside the Box?
This chaotic plastic kit contains 12 miniatures, allowing you to build a diverse and rowdy herd:
10 Cave Squigs: Each model is bursting with character, featuring various poses, gaping maws, and beady eyes. No two Squigs need to look the same.
2 Squig Herders: These long-suffering grots are armed with Squig Prodders and Mush-lingers to keep the herd moving in (mostly) the right direction.
Customization Options: The kit includes various armored plates, stray fungi, and accessory bits to give your herd a unique, scavenged look.
The Herd Spirit: Includes options to designate leaders or simply create a teeming mass of ravenous monsters.

"Eat Everything in Sight!"
Whether you're running a dedicated Squig-heavy "Jaws of Mork" list or just need a terrifying screen for your Moonclan, the Squig Herd is an essential addition. They are the perfect embodiment of the Gloomspite Gitz: funny, colorful, and lethally dangerous if you turn your back for even a second.
"Don't try to train 'em. Just point 'em at the bit of the enemy you want eaten and start running the other way."
