Getting Started with Orks
Your First Step Towards a Proper Waaagh!
Getting Started with Orks is the ideal way to begin your Ork collection for Warhammer 40,000. An Ork army is rugged and resilient, built for players who enjoy an aggressive, hard-hitting playstyle and overwhelming the enemy with sheer numbers and brute force. Whether you're an inexperienced yoof or a grizzled skarboy, the book inside guides you through readying a full Combat Patrol for battle, with easy-to-follow guides for assembling and painting your miniatures. A starter brush and a selection of paints chosen specifically for Orks are included, so you can get painting straight away.
Why You Need It
A Full Combat Patrol: 33 push-fit Ork miniatures make up a complete Combat Patrol force: a Warboss to lead the charge, a Weirdboy, 20 Boyz, 10 Gretchin and a Wartrakk.
Paint Straight Out of the Box: 11 paints covering Base, Layer, Shade and Texture, plus a starter brush and a texture spreader for your bases.
Built for Beginners: The 44-page introductory booklet gives you a flavour of the Orks, shows you how to build your push-fit miniatures and walks you through painting them using only the paints in the box.
Room to Customise: Several Boyz and Gretchin have interchangeable torsos, all the Boyz come with interchangeable heads, and the Nob leaders can swap their kustom shootas for kombi-shootas or kombi-rokkits.
